New Technology Can Be A Life Saver
If you need another reason to see your dentist regularly, how about the fact that each year 34,000 Americans will be diagnosed with oral or pharyngeal cancer. It will cause over 8,000 deaths, killing roughly one person per hour, 24 hours a day. Of these 34,000 newly diagnosed people, only half will be alive in 5 years. This number has not improved in decades.
